Abstract

The authors underscore a certain valuable feature of democracy that consists in sustaining and restoring a society’s unity as well as preserving and sanctioning its diversity. The model of democracy has been criticized shaped under the influence of libertarians. In consequence, challenges for democracy are to be pointed out posed by economic globalization. Their existence proves the necessity to reshape the liberal democracy understood as a center of national states’ citizens.
