Abstract

The aim of the article is to reflect upon the essence of the man. It presents the historical theories of homo, along with their defectsdrawbacks. The author proposes a new conception: concept of homo universus, according to which the man is blended into an broadly understood environment, broadly understood. The roots of this idea lie deep burried in the past, but it has not been named so far. The main tool for the (new) reconciliation of man with his their environment is the “universal communication.”
