Mimesis a postawa zaangażowana w perspektywie zachowań prototeatralnych

Abstract

The article presents some remarks on prototheatral behaviors. The basis for these remarks is the newest book by Anna Pałubicka entitled Grammar of European Culture, which shows the dualistic dimension of our culture. The book describes two general attitudes toward the world present in the European culture: the attitude of a man involved in the realization of chosen values, and the attitude of a distanced observer of the world and man himself. I believe that terms like mimesis should be interpret in involved attitude because it is still strongly connected with magical way of being in the world.
