Abstract
Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz’s View on Role of Reductive Inference in Scientific Creation.
It has been maintained in the psychology of creation, in the methodology of science and in philosophy that the scientific creation is, by nature, non-logical. However, the thesis has not been spelled out precisely enough. In this article, I try, first of all, to make this thesis clear. Secondly, having accepted the thesis in question, I argue against Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz that, at least in some cases, a new scientific value is obtained by using the reductive, non-inductive, inferring.
